Respectful, discrimination-sensitive collaboration needs clear guidelines. That’s why we rely on Code of Conduct-based processes.
Films and media should not just reflect diversity but actively promote it – both in front of and behind the camera. Diversity is not a trend but a necessity. It’s not just about a single aspect like gender, background, or age, but their intersectionality.

Over 25% of the population has a migration history, adding diverse cultural perspectives.
2. Gender Representation
50% are women, highlighting the need for balanced gender representation. .
3. Age Inclusion
Approximately 16% of the population is under 18, while nearly 22% are 65 or older.
4. LGBTQ+ Visibility
About 7.4% and more identify as LGBTQ+, representing varied identities.
5. Disability Representation
10% of the population living with severe disabilities , calling for greater inclusivity.
6. Social Class
20.9% of the population faces poverty or social exclusion, underlining the need for stories that reflect varied socio economic experiences.
7. Diversity of Religions and Belief Systems
Approximately 24% of the population in Germany are Roman Catholic, 21.9% are Protestant, and around 46.2% have no religious affiliation. Additionally, about 5.5 million Muslims live in Germany.
