A self-assessment in 16 steps

Where do you stand in the power structure?

This wheel shows 16 dimensions along which power is distributed unequally across German society. The closer your choices sit to the centre, the more structural power you hold.

01

You go through the dimensions one at a time and choose the ring that matches your position: how others read and treat you, not how you feel about yourself. There is no wrong answer, and nothing is stored or sent. If a trait is not visible, ask yourself: how are you treated once people know?

02

The statistic appears only after you choose. That way you respond to your own assessment, not to the number.

03

This is about structural position, not merit, effort or character. Privilege does not mean your life was easy. It means this one thing did not make it harder.

These 16 dimensions are a selection, not a complete list. Power also works along lines that are not shown here.

You can stop at any point, skip a dimension or go back. Some of these questions touch experiences that hurt. You do not have to see this through.
