How we work: Braver Spaces
Film and media productions work under time pressure, in changing teams, across departments, cultures, and hierarchies. Conflicts often arise exactly where those affected have the least power to speak up.
That's why we start where responsibility actually makes a difference: with production management and clients. In concrete terms, that means clear reporting channels before shooting even begins, dedicated points of contact on set, and trainings that empower teams to address conflicts early – aligned with the Respect Code Film.
The result: problems become visible early – before they escalate or become costly.
Our approach is based on the Braver Spaces concept by Brian Arao and Kristi Clemens (2013).
Our team: diversity & hands-on expertise
We are certified diversity trainers, managers, consultants, filmmakers, and media scholars with many years of hands-on experience in the film and media industry, on set, and within organizations and HR departments.
