My utopia is… 

 

… that real change – structural, society-wide, systemic –  is possible, benefiting as many people and as much of nature as possible. That people are seen and supported not merely as a resource, but in all their richness, with their needs and their knowledge. I wish for a less deficit-oriented view, and instead a benevolent one, focused on possibilities and a good future for everyone. 


 

My role in the inclusive media minds network

Through my studies and, not least, through years of experience in project, marketing, and HR work, I've developed the ability to analyze teams, hierarchies, power structures, and group dynamics in a professional context, and to support the process of resolving them and shaping new ways of working together. 

I define and implement discrimination-sensitive complaint processes in line with the AGG and support organizations in establishing fair and inclusive structures. My ability to analyze complex processes and quickly spot bottlenecks helps me communicate the necessary steps clearly and put them into practice effectively. Successful complaint management around discrimination depends significantly on trusting collaboration with all relevant stakeholders. Let's smash the patriarchy!

I identify as Afro-Latina and was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. I've lived in Hamburg since 2001, have 2 children, and love nothing more than dancing salsa and bachata.
