We provide an external and independent trusted contact person
Sometimes you need someone you can trust who will listen to you. External, independent, and free of any conflict of interest.
We provide productions with an external, independent trusted contact person for the entire duration of shooting. They are personally approachable, bound to absolute confidentiality, and cannot impose sanctions. Their sole task: to listen, advise, assess situations within the Code of Conduct, and point the way to further support.
What the Trusted Contact Person Does
- Confidential counseling and psychosocial support for everyone working on set
- Information about rights and options in the event of violations of the Respect Code Film
- Referral to further support and counseling
- Support for feedback processes on set
- No independent investigation of incidents
- No sanctioning
What the Trusted Contact Person Does Not Do
- They do not investigate
- They do not contact accused individuals
- They do not file reports without the explicit consent of those affected
